Verse for the Season

The last year, Psalm 19:14 was my verse for the season šŸ’š

In my youth I wasn’t exactly taught words that were kind or that didn’t include foul language in each sentence - we all have our downfalls - This was a huge one of mine 🧐

I didn’t cuss around my kids BUT in anger or when they weren’t around I became a Grown Woman with a sailors mouth - I didn’t like the ā€œI cuss a little and love Jesus a lotā€ shirts. That isn’t even bible based BTW

The words that came out of my mouth became more important to ME!

I’m thankful for a husband that was raised in a home that did not use foul language and his support and honestly just calling me out when i needed, it is what he is called to do as a Husband BTW It’s called ā€œsubmissionā€

Our kids are getting older and How we respond is what they see the most!

Do you have a verse of the year? What is it? I’d Love to hear from you!

ā€œMay these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer.ā€

- Psalm 19:14
